David Stewart is a gr-gr-gr-gr-gr-gr nephew of Sarah Bush Lincoln and has over 25 years of EHS experience. In 2015 he was honored with a Denver City Council Proclamation for nineteen years of distinguished service with the City and County of Denver, CO as a safety professional, and park ranger. He is also a recipi
ent of Midwest Research Institute’s President’s Award for exceptional performance during his six years of service as a safety engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, CO; and he worked two seasons as a park ranger for the Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District. He received a B.S. in Earth Science, with an engineering geology concentration, from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville, and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He is also a Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) and an OSHA Authorized General Industry Trainer.
